I've lost count of the number of times I see my land covered with tiny white hexagonal crystals of H₂O. Unlike the Neanderthals, my brain structure isn't endowed with an efficient long-term memory buffer -- that part of the brain was sacrificed to the overgrown frontal lobe. Sad but who says existence should not be sad.
